Apostle Ankur Yoseph Narula is the Senior Pastor and Overseer of The Church of Signs and Wonders ministry in Punjab, India.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]
He pastors one of the largest church congregations in Punjab, India with weekly attendance over 400000 attendees in the Khambra branch in Punjab and over 100 other branches countrywide.[9]
History
[edit]Born in a non-Christian family, Ankur Narula accepted Christianity and started his ministry with 3 people in 2008. Weekly congregations are now over 400000 make it one of the biggest churches in India and the world.[3]
He oversees The Church of Signs and Wonders which is the largest and fastest growing church in Punjab, India. Born in a non-believer family, Apostle Ankur Narula came to know about Lord Jesus Christ at suicide point frustrated from intoxications and sickness. He then surrendered to Christian ministry and service.[2]
Church Growth
[edit]The church started with 3 people in the church in the year 2008.[10]
The congregation grew to 500 members in 2009, 2000 members in 2010, 4000 members in 2011, 8000 members in 2012, 13000 members in 2013, 18000 members in 2014, 25000 members in 2015, 35000 members in 2016, 60000 members in 2017, and 118000 members as of October 2018.[11]
By December 2023, the membership had surged by an additional 400,000 members.[3]
Branches
[edit]As of early 2024, Ankur Narula Ministries expanded to over 100 branches. The Church of Signs and Wonders conducts live services every Thursday and Sunday, which are broadcast globally through Anugrah TV. The church regularly accommodates over 400,000 attendees at weekly services, often exceeding capacity and resulting in overflow congregations outside the church premises.[10][9]
