Armando Leyson Castro (born 28 September 1956) is a Mexican politician affiliated with the Institutional Revolutionary Party. He served as Deputy of the LIX Legislature of the Mexican Congress representing Sinaloa and was municipal president of Guasave from 1999 to 2001.[1] He also served as president of the Diablos Azules de Guasave football team and vice president of the Algodoneros de Guasave baseball team.[2]
Leyson comes from a political family. His father, Miguel Leyson Pérez, served as a federal deputy in the XLVII Legislature of the Mexican Congress as well as the municipal president of Guasave from 1943 to 1944.[2] His brother, José Luis Leyson Castro, was a federal deputy in the LVI Legislature of the Mexican Congress and municipal president of Guasave from 1984 to 1986.[2]
