I've reverted @Lost in Quebec:'s revert of @Omnis Scientia: and I'd change. FYI Omnis, this editor seems to be unwilling to discuss the difference between categories and pages. See User_talk:Smasongarrison#New_message_from_Lost_in_Quebec and User_talk:Lost_in_Quebec#August_2024. I don't have the bandwidth to deal with their hostility, but I think that "from" is not limited to residences and that removing the category disrupts the larger category tree. I've got LQ muted, so if you need me please ping me. Mason (talk) 15:42, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

As Mason has been informed (See my talk page) on multiple occasions by multiple editors, NP criteria here[1] says worked, lived, born not buried gone to school or worked. If worked met the qualifications, all sports team players categories would qualify. Obviously they aren't[2].Lost in Quebec (talk) 16:11, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Lost in Quebec, I thought you had removed a category from an article I recently created, not from the category. I would disagree in that sense. I think, in terms of categories, making it easier to navigate should be the priority. Articles are different, however. My opinion at least. Omnis Scientia (talk) 16:39, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
FYI I've reported Lost in Quebec for edit warring on this category. Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Edit_warring#User:Lost_in_Quebec_reported_by_User:Smasongarrison_(Result:_). They should have attempted to discuss before reverting for a third time Mason (talk) 20:18, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
