Eraole

Another solar plane is the Eraole, scheduled in 2016 for a "zero-carbon" trans-atlantic flight by French scientist Raphael Dinelli but not qualified for this page because it also used biofuel. There was lots of talk about it in fall 2015 and spring 2016 but as far as I can tell, the project failed from lack of funding. According to his Facebook page, Dinelli continues to fly the Eraole in various events.
