David Strettell

David Strettell is the founder and owner of Dashwood Books, New York City’s only independent bookstore dedicated to photography.[1][2] He opened the store in 2005.[3] Prior to this, Strettell was Mario Testino’s assistant, and then served as cultural director of Magnum Photos[4] for 12 years. He also publishes books on photography, including limited-edition monographs.[5][6] Strettell is married to Ann Christiansen, and is a father of one.[7]
