Barrister Jamiruddin Sircar Collegiate Institute in Panchagarh, Bangladesh was established in 1990, which is named after the distinguished politician and Supreme Court lawyer, Barrister Muhammad Jamiruddin Sircar[1]. As the founder, Barrister Sarkar donated the land for the establishment of the institution. Local leaders and community members also contributed significantly to build the school[2]. This secondary school is under the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dinajpur, which follows National Curriculum and Textbook Board. Currently, the school has approximately 400+ students from grades 6 to 10, with a dedicated team of 15 teachers and 7 staff members. The school, from its beginning, operates in a single shift from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
