Bryan Battle (born 21 September 1994) is an American mixed martial artist who competes in the welterweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).^[1] Battle was born in Springfield, Missouri, but fights out of Charlotte, North Carolina, and trains at the gym Carolina Combat Sports and Fitness.^[2] Battle was the winner of the middleweight division in the 29th season of the show The Ultimate Fighter (TUF), defeating Gilbert Urbina by submission at UFC Fight Night: Barboza vs. Chikadze. Battle originally competed with the nickname "Pooh Bear" but later changed his nickname to "The Butcher."
