Care for Friends is a nonprofit organization that provides food, clothing, and healthcare programs to unhoused individuals in Chicago.[1]

Serving 9,000 sit-down, hot meals every year to any person in need[2], Care for Friends' "no questions asked" approach creates trusting relationsips with at-risk individuals that lead to housing, job training, and mental and physical health interventions[3]. Their bimontly foot care clinic uses these relationships to provide referrals to free healch clinics and hospitals - creating a primary care relationship that eases the burden on emergency rooms as primary care centers for the unhoused.[4]

They are a program partner of the Greater Chicago Food Depository[5]
