Bhojpuri region is one of the cultural rich region in India with different forms of music and dances. Being an epicentre of the Indian culture, this region has been always known for its cultural practices. Major dance form in the region is Kajari, Jhumar, Jhijhiya, Bideshiya and Lavanda Naach. Other dance forms are Karma and Chhau.[citation needed]

Most of the dances are seasonal and are performed in season like Sawan and in festival like Navratri. [1]
