Prince Franz Ferdinand of Hohenberg was born on 14 March 1937 in Vienna, Austria. His father, Prince Ernst of Hohenberg, was 32 and his mother, Marie-Thérèse Wood, was 26 at the time of his birth. He died on 8 August 1978, in his hometown, at the age of 41.[1]
Life
[edit]Prince Franz Ferdinand Maximilian Georg Ernst Maria Josef Zacharius Ignaz von Hohenberg was the eldest son of Prince Ernst von Hohenberg and his wife, Princess Marie-Thérèse. He was married on October 17, 1964, to Heide Zechling, daughter of Johann Zechling and Margarethe Vielhaber.
