Gameplay

[edit]

The game takes place in various 2d levels inspired by those of games like Sonic the Hedgehog. The character rides in a go kart.[4] The main player is a hybrid grizzly/polar bear[citation needed] named King Grolar, but you can unlock different characters by collecting a certain number of maps in each of the 8 worlds.

There are 8 worlds total, each with 8 levels, for a total of 64.[5] Each world has 7 levels automatically visible, and requires the other 7 to have all coins collected in order to unlock an eighth level. Each level is unlocked after the previous one is beaten.[citation needed]

Plot

[edit]

In a kingdom called Funkyland, most animals coexisted peacefully. Since cross breeding was common, most animals were hybrids. When the King of Ducks got sick, his brother, the King of Dragons, who had been exiled, seized the throne. Several doctors were sent out to find the king, but they failed. Grolar, the King of Fur, decided to journey to find the doctors and king.[5]

Reception

[edit]

The game has received mostly positive reviews. It was rated 4.1/5 based off of reviews on Google Play,[6] and was given 80% positive reviews on Steam.[7] However, some have criticized it for being unfairly challenging.[8]
