Inna Yukhimchuk (Russian: И́нна Юхимчу́к; born 24 January 1990) is a Russian singer and songwriter, and Master of Performing Arts, internationally recognized for her contributions to music across the United States, Europe, and China. With over 30 years of experience on stage, she has gained wide recognition, performing at hundreds of concerts worldwide, collaborating with prestigious companies, and participating in high-profile television shows and international vocal competitions.[1]

Inna is well known for her scientific approach to vocal training, having developed her own method, "Vocals On," which combines innovative vocal techniques with modern technologies.[1]

Biography

Inna Yukhimchuk was born in Russia on January 24, 1990. She was raised by a family of musicians and began her musical journey early at a very young age of only three years old.[2][1]After completing her studies at a music school in the northern Russian town of Noyabrsk in 2006, Inna relocated to Moscow with the ambition to succeed. In 2012, she graduated with a Master’s degree in Performing Arts from the Institute of Modern Arts. At the age of 25, Inna set off for sunny Los Angeles, eager to expand her knowledge and explore new opportunities.[2]

Career

Inna Yukhimchuk’s international career took her to various stages across the globe, including prominent venues in the U.S. and Europe.[1] From 2015 to 2017, she was the lead vocalist of the band Newton and The Fates. A big highlight for the band was performing at the iconic The Hotel Café in Los Angeles, a venue that has featured artists like John Mayer, Adele, and Katy Perry. Another key achievement was the release of their EP album, Atomic Soul.[1][2][3]

In 2020, Inna joined the band "Pepperhedz', with whom she performed in major venues across China. The band became commercially successful. In 2024, after five years with Pepperhedz, she returned to her solo career and released her debut album, A Stands for Able, which was well-received in China. The album, centered on themes of human resilience, love, and hope, resonated with listeners, particularly through songs like “Nursery Rhyme,” which reflect on real-life struggles and adult fears.[1]Inna's work in China earned her significant recognition, including a contract with Tencent Music in 2023.[4]She also performed during major events such as the Chinese New Year celebration at Window of the World in Shenzhen, where her band performed for nearly a million viewers.[1]

As a solo artist, Inna Yukhimchuk also passed a rigorous selection process to perform on the prestigious Chinese television show Universal Show, aired on CCTV4, where previous performers included renowned artists such as Vitas and Dimash—both local audience favorites.[5] This was certainly a career milestone for Inna.[4]
