Port Towns station is a proposed Washington Metro station in Bladensburg, Maryland.
Due to capacity issues at Rosslyn, the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority proposed a new Blue or Silver line route providing service to many new stations. This station was proposed as a new station on a new Blue or Silver line that would run from their normal western termini (Franconia-Springfield and Ashburn) and would re-route after leaving Virginia and go to a second Greenbelt station instead. The station would be the first stop in Maryland for either lines[1]
