On August 5, 2024, Sheikh Hasina the 10th Prime Minister of Bangladesh resigned from office after 15 years of ruling the country.[a]
Preceding Events
[edit]In July protests started to reform the qouta system. The protests proved a significant challenge for the Awami League government.
