Rio Akisada (born September 8 , 1982) is a Japanese actress.

Her Japanese native name is 秋定里穂 and her name in Kanna is あきさだ りお.

Born in Tokyo. And belongs to J.Clip. Graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design, Department of Design.

She made her debut as a child actress in the NHK morning drama "Aguri". In 2013, she participated in the production "YELL!" by the theater group "TEAM6g" led by Atsuko Anan and others, and became an official member in 2020. She retired in 2022.

Life and Career

In 2017, she hosted a talk event for director Shinobu Yaguchi'sShinobu Yaguchi film Survival Family, where they met for the first time since Water Boys (2001). When Yaguchi asked her about how he had cried at the preview screening of Water Boys, he confessed that he had been overwhelmed with emotions, saying, " We filmed it while I was taking my university entrance exams, and I saw the preview on the day I passed."

In 2019, she appeared again in a film directed by Shinobu YaguchiShinobu Yaguchi, "Dance with Me."Dance with Me (2019 Japanese film)
