Sherawat[1][2] is an semi autonomous Kshatriya belong to the  feudal lineage of Rawat Jats (Not marry among Hindu)[3][4] staunching from Tanwar Dynasty[5] or sometime  Sikh community of the Punjab region, they immensely  consolidate their  lineage in the bloodline of Choudhary Shehzad Singh who served as the integral bodyguard of Maharaja Ranjit Singh of Sikh Empire.[6]
