"Sweet Boys", is a podcast hosted by Garrett Watts and Andrew Siwicki. Their announcement video in November of 2020 for the podcast, "We have some news"[1], on the Sweet Boys YouTube channel[2], sits at 2 million views. The first episode has just over 1 million views. The podcast's first season or "phase" is 23 episodes long.
In episode 23, released on YouTube on May 14, 2021, Siwicki and Watts emphasize that "this isn't the end" and they will return with Sweet Boys "Phase 2".
On Watts' Instagram Livestream on April 28, 2023, celebrating the launch of his merchandise brand ThingsbyGarrett[3] with Siwicki, Watts hinted at some form of resurfacing of Sweet Boys happening at some point in the future, saying "Sweet Boys will rise from the grave in some respect" and "I'm not going to announce anything officially".[4]
July 18, 2022, Siwicki and Watts announced that Siwicki would officially be joining Watts "full-time, crafting content for his creative universe" and would be "a producer, cameraman, and editor for Garrett's YouTube channel and all things Garrett Watts related".[5]
Watts and Siwicki met in 2015-2016 while living in the same apartment complex.[6] Watts, with a YouTube channel of his own[7], releases videos every few months.
