- Comment: Much of the article remains unsourced. It's unclear where the information in the Scientific career section is derived from, as only one source exists there. Material should only be included in the article if it can be attributed to a reliable publisher. Utopes (talk / cont) 21:34, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: The article has vast amounts of unsourced material. Don't just add refs at the end, you have to validate every major statement. Please focus on notability, and don't write an extended CV. Ldm1954 (talk) 00:40, 3 September 2024 (UTC)
Vladimir Dadali (born December 18, 1937, Mykolaiv, Mykolaiv Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, USSR) is a biochemist, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Biological and General Chemistry named after V. V. Sokolovsky (now Department of Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics, Biochemistry and General Chemistry) of the North-Western State Medical University named after I.I. Mechnikov. Professor is a Doctor of Philosophy in Naturopathic Medicine and is a certified nutritional consultant from the University of Natural Medicine, Santa Fe (California, USA). He is a member of the International Micronutrient Association (USA). He is an Academician of the Baltic Pedagogical Academy and a regular participant in Russian and international conferences. He was involved in the development and implementation of natural medicinal products (raunatin, novoaekol). Currently, he is developing recipes for natural compositions related to dietary supplements[1].
Biography
[edit]Vladimir Dadali was born into the family of a military serviceman. He graduated with honors from the Pharmaceutical Faculty of the First Moscow State Medical Institute (now university) named after I.M. Sechenov in 1960 and then from the Chemistry Faculty of Kharkiv State University. From 1987 to 2012, he headed the Department of Biochemistry with a course in bioorganic chemistry (after merging in 2011 with the Department of Chemistry of the North-Western State Medical University named after I.I. Mechnikov, it was renamed to the Department of Biological and General Chemistry), now the Department of Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics, Biochemistry and General Chemistry.
He worked as a research associate at the Kharkiv Research Chemical and Pharmaceutical Institute, where he co-authored the development of the drug "Raunatin",[2] and then at the Department of Chemical Kinetics of Kharkiv State University.
Scientific career
[edit]Vladimir Dadali defended his Candidate's dissertation in 1969 on the topic "Studying the Electronic Conductivity in a Series of Binuclear Bridged Compounds" in the field of organic chemistry. In 1986, he defended his Doctorate dissertation on the topic "The Mechanism of Catalysis and Structural Effects in a Series of Imidazoles" at the Physical Chemistry Council of Moscow State University named after Lomonosov. The obtained research results were then experimentally investigated in Antarctic expeditions as adaptogens.
The scientific interests of Professor Dadali are diverse. The main direction of scientific interests is the study of chemical models of enzymatic catalysis, enzymatic systems of the body's defense against the action of damaging factors of the external environment, the study of the theoretical foundations and mechanisms of action of natural antioxidants and their complexes, the development of biologically active compositions of various aspects of action based on natural substances. With the active support of Professor V. A. Dadali, a regional (innovative) center "Adaptogen"[3] was created.
The educational program on micronutrients and dietary supplements, launched and personally implemented by Professor V. A. Dadali both in Russia and abroad, is devoted to the biochemical and pharmacological aspects of their action, helps to understand their significance for human health and competently approach their use in practical medicine. V. A. Dadali conducts seminars for doctors in St. Petersburg, Moscow and other cities of Russia, lectures in the USA, Bulgaria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Mongolia, Thailand, and neighboring countries. He organized and actively conducts cycles of lectures on the biochemistry and pharmacology of natural substances in St. Petersburg and Moscow, including at the University of Educational Medicine.
