Description
English: Before leaving on the onward journey, Minister Thomas christened the farm "Batchelor" in memory of the late Hon. E. L. Batchelor, Minister for External Affairs. (Batchelor farm was located on part of the present Batchelor town site. It was one of several "demonstration farms" established during the Gilruth period - PF)
