Description
English: Basch Árpád festménye - Sirály. Illusztráció az Ujság Album melléklete 6. oldalán. Heczeg Ferenc a Szelek szárnyán című albummal kedveskedett az Ujság olvasóinak 1905-ben. Herczeg utibeszámolóje ez: az Adrián tett vitorlázás a Sirállyal, Fiumétól Spalmadoriig. Útvonala: Fiume (Baross Kikötő, Fakikötő) - Arbe-Zára-Zaravecchia-Morter-Sebenico-Trau-Spalato-Curzola-Ragusa-Cattaro-San-Nicolo-Lissa-Spalmadori. Herczeg több ezer tengeri mérföldet tett meg a Sirály húsztonnás vitorlás kutteren. A hajót négy évvel az utazás előtt építette Herczeg megrendelésére Spaics Garibaldi isztriai hajóépítő. Árbóca 17 méter magas, kétszáz négyszögméternyi vászont feszíthet a szél.
