Spoken article quality assessment

[edit]

Version reviewed: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Billy_Joel&oldid=1017961953

Technical quality: You can hear some random feedback starting to occur a minute into it. There are other problems like that throughout the recording.

Clarity: Low. This comes and goes. You don't seem to be reading ahead very well, so you'll suddenly stop at random places. You should probably take breaks in-between takes. For example, at around the 34-35 minute mark you begin to stutter and struggle with some of the words in the passage.

Accuracy: Your inflections can be all over the map. Sometimes you don't pause when you should, and oftentimes you read things out to be a question. It can be really distraction in all honesty. I didn't notice any significant deviations with the written words, however. That should be noted.

Notes: It's a lot of effort to read an hour's worth of content out loud. You have my commendations for attempting the task!

Help with recording issues can be obtained under "Recording assistance" here.
Information on the assessment procedure can be found on the spoken article assessment page.

Also, it just occurred to me that the file is licensed under CC-BY-SA 3.0, but in the record it just says CC-BY 3.0. –MJLTalk 19:34, 10 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
