History
[edit]Travelshift, founded in 2012, initially launched Guide to Iceland, an online travel platform focused on Iceland, which grew significantly and received recognition within the industry.[2][3]
Following the success of Guide to Iceland, Travelshift expanded its model and introduced Guide to Europe in 2022. The platform integrates AI technology to provide travel-related services, including personalized itineraries and voice-activated booking systems.[4][5]
In 2022, Travelshift appointed David Stewart as CEO to oversee its continued growth and product development.[6]
In 2023, Travelshift secured $10 million in funding to further develop its AI-driven travel services.[7][8]
