Jaime P. Gomez (born August 31, 1965)[1] is an American film and television actor.

Gomez was born in Los Angeles, California.[1] He is perhaps best known for playing Inspector Evan Cortez, one of the Inspectors under the command of Nash Bridges, in the Special Investigations Unit, in the first five seasons (1996–2000) of the police procedural television series Nash Bridges.[2][3]

Gomez has guest-starred in television programs, his first credit being a 1988 episode of the series 21 Jump Street.[4] In 1989, he appeared in his first feature film, Say Anything..., and also appeared in his first recurring role on television, playing Sonny DaSilva in 14 episodes of the soap opera Generations.[5]
