This is a character list of the Canadian animated series Jimmy Two-Shoes.

Main characters

Jimmy Two-Shoes

(Cory Doran) - James "Jimmy" Two-Shoes is the eponymous protagonist of the cartoon, a perpetually optimistic, thrill-seeking and effeminate 14-year-old boy. Jimmy is tall, has blonde hair and a gap in his teeth. He wears a lime-green t-shirt with two white stripes on the sleeves, blue jeans and black (blue in "Cerbee Come Home") and white low-top sneakers. He has a mission to spread happiness to Miseryville, which makes him a perpetual source of irritation to Lucius Heinous VII, whom Jimmy nicknames "Luci". He is often seen doing extreme activities despite Heloise's warnings, is distracted very easily, and gullible. In "Catalogue of Misery", it is shown he may have financial problems. Jimmy is altruistic and will quickly step into situations, even life-threatening ones, to aid others. His superhero alter-ego is Power Squid, in which he dons a squid-based "muscle enhancer" invented by Heloise, with a set of purple gloves and a mask. His main powers are shooting ink from the squid's tentacles and utilizing them as an additional pair of arms. He and Heloise appear to be the only "humans" in Miseryville. It is shown to be almost impossible to get him upset (some of the only things that make him upset are butterscotch and pickles), and his idealism renders him ignorant of the faults in others.

Jimmy is oblivious to the fact that Heloise has a crush on him, even when she tries to make it obvious, somewhat because whenever she tries to do something nice, it always backfires and turns to an evil plan. He seems to dislike the idea of Heloise being his girlfriend, being horrified by the notion that they could fall in love ("Better Sweater"), and even more horrified by the idea of kissing her ("There is Always a Hiccup"). In spite of this, Jimmy is the only one in Miseryville who isn't afraid of Heloise for obvious reasons, and has shown some affection for her on several occasions (he was worried about her losing her job in "Catalogue of Misery", complimented her on her dress in "Scent of a Heinous", was the only one who wanted to rescue her in "Heinous vs. Clown", and actually seemed to be jealous when he discovered that Heloise was dating Peep (Jamie Two-Squirrels) in "Heloise's Secret Admirer", and thus spent the day tailing them).

Jimmy apparently hasn't lived in Miseryville for very long, as shown in a few episodes, (e.g. he doesn't know about hibernation in "I Am Jimmy" or the definition of "grounded" in Miseryville, which literally means being buried to the head-up in the sand and/or dirt, and mentions in "A Cold Day in Miseryville" the concept of snow to Beezy and Heloise, both of whom are clueless about it, as it had never snowed in Miseryville before). His catchphrase is "Jimmy, you mad genius!", which he often says after gaining an idea. His parents are never seen or mentioned. He, alongside Beezy and Heloise, is a fan of Runny and the Nosebleeds. His name is most likely based on (The History of Little Goody Two Shoes) a story.

Beezy JoJo Heinous

(Brian Froud) - One of Jimmy's best friends, Beezy is the slow-witted, lazy, egocentric, hedonistic, yet loyal teenage son of Lucius Heinous the Seventh who adorns a pair of brown shorts (when dressing for a formal event, he adds a white collar with a black bow-tie and white cuffs to his regular clothing). He somewhat resembles his father, but is much larger and has a tail (it is worth mentioning however that in the pilot Lucius is depicted with a spade-tipped tail, and in "Best Prank Ever", it's shown that only a year earlier, he was the same height as Lucius and Samy). He is apparently the only Heinous not named Lucius. His superhero alter-ego is Spaghetti Beezy; unlike the more elaborate disguises of his two friends, he simply becomes this via cramming a pot of spaghetti over his head. He uses his noxious garlic breath as his superpower.

To the eternal dismay and embarassment of his father, he would rather hang out with Jimmy and Heloise than spread misery or learn to govern Misery Inc. He is frequently seen lazing on a couch, even outdoors, and constantly uses the phrase "No you are!" as a comeback or "Burn!" to punctuate an insult, even if their inclusion in a sentence doesn't make sense. Jimmy usually has to feed him just to get his help. Beezy has a mutually-strained relationship with Heloise (to the point that when they accidentally kissed in "There's Always a Hiccup", they both hated it) and has a girlfriend named Saffi who Jimmy set him up in "Jimmy Matchmaker". They remain together until "She Loves Me". Much like Jimmy, due to his mellowness and relaxed demeanor, it's difficult to properly enrage him (some of the only things he outright despises are baths and pizza crust).

He apparently runs some kind of business he calls the Beezy Talent Agency. His card consists of a poorly-constructed picture of himself with a tuxedo print taped on it and hair scribbled on with a marker. His mother has never been mentioned. His name is probably derived from Beelzebub.

Heloise

(Tabitha St. Germain) - A super-intelligent and tomboyish yet sadistic, short-tempered, and psychotic small girl, Heloise is one of Jimmy's best friends and his second sidekick. She's depicted as a depraved, evil genius/mad scientist who enjoys spreading chaos wherever she goes, though possesses the appearance of a diminutive little girl with highlighted blond hair and dark-blue eyes. She is almost always seen wearing a maroon gown, regardless of location, and has been seen occasionally wearing glasses or shades. She usually wears her hair in a ponytail and has a scar on her forehead that is mostly covered by her hair. It is shown that she has feet in "Heloise's Big Secret" and "Something About Herman" and the shapes of her legs is briefly shown in "The Terrific Trio", but all of her outfits are knee-length and reach the ground, so they've really never been seen.

She works for Lucius as the head-of-research and development at Misery, Inc, her job consisting of producing despair-inducing products for the company. Whenever she tries to scientifically explain her inventions/plans to Jimmy and Beezy, she usually has to give a simplified version of the idea so they can understand.

Her superhero alter-ego in "The Terrific Trio" is Trouble Bubble Girl; while portraying said superheroine, she dons a pink dress, a bubble over her head, turns her hair pink, and floats on a cloud of bubbles. Her powers consist of launching explosive bubbles at her adversaries.

She does have feelings, proven by her intense crush on Jimmy (for example, "Fused Together" she has a shrine dedicated to Jimmy in a small room hidden behind a cabinet that has been "found" by other characters. Her shrine appears again in "Pet Rocky", only this time it's behind the fireplace), but doesn't particularly care for Beezy, tolerating him (barely) primarily because of their mutual fondness for Jimmy. Heloise constantly tries to inform Jimmy of her feelings towards him, but he either is oblivious or doesn't reciprocate her romantic infatuations. In "The Racing Bug", however, she wonders why she likes him (co-creator Edward Kay has said that Jimmy's good nature appeals to the last shred of humanity in her). She is also shown to be annoyed at Jimmy's constant naïvete to obvious problems. Her catchprase is "Don't get your horns in a twist", a line she often uses when dealing with Lucius. She has shown to envious of other girls who so much as come in contact with Jimmy; in "The Big Date", she thought Jez and Jimmy were dating, when in reality he was only trying to help Lucius prepare for a date with her. Being nice is nearly impossible for her, as whenever she makes an effort to show acts of kindness, her evil side wins over. She is generally decent to be around if she is spending time with Jimmy, particularly if they are alone; however, she can just as rapidly lose her temper if someone intrudes, or if Jimmy fails to pick up on her affections.

She is the only character who isn't frightened of or bigoted towards the Weavils, though appears to have a ghost issue and will assault any ghosts she sees. She seems to be a lifetime resident of Miseryville, as she is completely clueless when Jimmy mentions snow in "A Cold Day in Miseryville".

Lucius Heinous VII

(Sean Cullen) - The tyrannical, cold-hearted, malevolent, narcissistic, self-serving, egomaniacal, devil-like, short ruler of Miseryville, CEO of Misery Inc., and main antagonist of the series. He harbors great contempt for his (one-sided) archenemy Jimmy, because of his happy-go-lucky attitude continously foiling his plots to make the town even more miserable (which he takes great joy in doing). Lucius seems to think looking gross or smelling bad is a good thing, and in "Clowns Gone Wild", it is shown he owns a pair of underwear that he only washes every 6 months.

Beezy, his son, rebels against his wishes, which he blames Jimmy for. He also has a father whom he keeps cyrogenically frozen (along with his ancestors, dating back to Lucius I). He had a miserable childhood and sometimes has painful flashbacks of how his father was abusive to him, which could explain his bitterness. With the exception of "There's Always a Hiccup" (in which he designs a dinosaur that terrorizes children), he's an idiot when it comes to coming up with new ideas and relies co-dependantly on Heloise and her inventions; if something goes wrong, he blames her for it. His exact age is never given, though he is at least seven hundred years old, as he stated in "Heinous vs. Clown" (on a related note, he claims "Bad Horn Day" that it took four hundred years for his horns to grow). Lucius intensely dislikes the Weavils, especially their leader Reggie, as he stole his stuffed rabbit Coochie Long-Ears. His name is derived from Lucifer, which was his original intended name.

Samy Garvin

(Dwayne Hill) - Samuel "Samy" Garvin is Lucius' meerkat-like goblin assistant with dreams of stardom and fame and a lateral lisp. He is rather timid, sensitive, and weak, and is often verbally abused by his boss. In "Pop-Sicles", it is revealed that he previously worked for Lucius' father, Lucius Heinous VI for at least 87 years. He is usually assigned to do the most disgusting or dangerous jobs Misery Inc. has to offer. When Samy hosts an event he wears a black wig, red suit and dons his ventriloquist puppet Humphrey von Sidekick. It is also shown in "Misery Hearts", that he is a best-selling writer. Though he dislikes Jimmy, Beezy, and Heloise (as does his boss), he tolerates them more than Lucius. Samy is shown sleeping at the end of Lucius' bed in "Ghostsmackers", which could imply he doesn't own his own house. His name is presumably derived from Samael.

Cerbee

(Sean Cullen) - Jimmy's loyal but rambunctious and gluttonous pet (he is so energeic that he doesn't show any signs of lethargy when Heloise shoots several tranquilizer darts at him in "Monster Mutt"). He is a green, dog-like monster that is supposed to resemble the head of Cerberus (hence the name, though he has only one head instead of three). Cerbee seems to dislike Samy and Beezy (usually interacting with them via biting or even eating them), but he seems to like Heloise and Lucius.

Recurring characters

• Jez (Valerie Buhagiar) is Lucius's gold digger girlfriend who resembles a tall, blue anthropomorphic cat-like creature who has interchangeable noses. She is very selfish and spoiled, and often breaks up or threatens to break up with Lucius if he is unable to please her (which is nigh-impossible as she is shown to be very picky). She lives in a white mansion and owns a dog named Jasmeen, who once fell in love with Jimmy's dog, Cerbee. Her name is probably derived from Jezebel.
• Lucius Heinous VI (Sean Cullen) is Lucius Heinous VII's father and Beezy's grandfather, whom he's kept frozen in the factory for twenty years due to being even more tyrannical and abusive than the current Lucius. He obviously doesn't get along with his son, as shown in "Pop-Sicles". The story of why he was frozen varies from episode-to-episode: it's shown in "Night in the Heinous Museum" that Lucius VII got to freeze his father after winning a bowling game against him, but in every subsequent flashback of Lucius Heinous VII, the reason for his freezing vastly differentiates. Subsequent episodes, such as "Six Over Seven" and "Heinous on Ice" show Lucius Heinous VI's relationship with his grandson and more significantly his son has improved.
• Dr. Ludwig Von Scientist (Dwayne Hill) is the other mad scientist who lives in Miseryville, a short (though still taller than Heloise) egg-like creature with a pointy nose, a mustache that usually covers his mouth, glasses, and a lab coat. . He has appeared in many episodes and has helped out Jimmy and Beezy in crises when Heloise either was the cause of or not the cause of a conflict. It has been said that along with Heloise and two rocks, he is one of the most brilliant minds in all of Miseryville, although Heloise is shown to be far more intelligent than he is. He is not very evil, which may be because he does not fully understand the concept of being malevolent, and makes many mistakes, although in "Heads Will Roll" he plays the role as the main antagonist. He is displayed as envious and afraid of Heloise, though seems to be fond of Jimmy and Beezy.
• Saffi (Sunday Muse) is Beezy's ex-girlfriend, an orange, one-eyed, monster-like creature with a simple-minded and feral personality. Saffi is apparently capable of little speech, not saying much outside of "crush", "yogurt", "smoothy-smooth", and "scratchy-scratchy", but can communicate in full sentences (she says "No, I just hate statues." in "Jimmy Matchmaker" and "I don't mind" in "I Married a Weavil" when Beezy is marrying the princess weavil, implying while she does like Beezy, she really does not understand the concept of the word "girlfriend". This is further implied in the episode "She Loves Me", as when Beezy breaks up with her, she doesn't seem to understand and simply giggles and jumps blissfully). In "Catalogue of Misery", she questions herself on why she is so crazy.
• Dorkus (Dwayne Hill) is a small pale creature with brown hair and is Heloise's assistant. He wears a one-lens eyeglass (he only has one eye) and a suit. He seems to be an inventor, though his products aren't nearly as practical as Heloise's. In "Power Squid and Spaghetti Beezy", it is revealed that Heloise has a cupboard filled with duplicates of him, which could mean any of Dorkus' appearances aren't upheld by the same version.
• General Molotov (Dwayne Hill) is a tan troll monster who resembles a sumatran orangutan and is Dickie's father, with pointy ears and a strong build. He works for Lucius and has a young son, a baby daughter, and a wife that intimidates him. He refers to those of smaller stature than him as maggots and speaks with a Russian dialect. His name is probably derived from Moloch or Vyacheslav Molotov.
  • Tori is the son of General Molotov. He gets great enjoyment out of making his little sister spew and only seemed to be jealous of the attention she gets from others. He's become a fan of Runny and the Nosebleeds after Jimmy and Beezy babysat him and his sister. 'Baby Boom' is the only episode where he actually spoke, in other episodes, he usually just appears in the background. He does not have a Russian accent.
  • Molotov's Wife (Valerie Buhagiar) is, as her name suggests, the wife of General Molotov, and a yellow, four-armed-and-legged monster who seems to be quite bossy and strict. It is implied in some episodes that she and Molitov may have marriage problems. It's possible she might not be very bright, as in "Baby Boom", she didn't realize the lobster she was talking to was deceased. She like her husband speaks in a Russian accent.
  • Baby Blamo - General Molotov's baby daughter. She is a very cute and small baby who vomits constantly. She once appeared at her school play as a flower.
• Rudolfo (Juan Chioran) is a greedy, sly traveling salesman who attempts to sell things that don't actually work and will do anything to make a quick buck. He speaks with a British accent and travels around in a mobile shop on wheels. In "Everyone Can Whistle", it is revealed he has a son named Peep (Jamie Two-Squirrels).
  • Peep (Jamie Two-Squirrels) (Christian Potenza) is Rudolfo's son and is also a salesman like his father, speaking with a Cockney accent and dressing as a stereotypical street urchin, with tattered, patched-up clothes and hat. He has an unrequited infatuation with Heloise. In his second appearance, his real name is revealed to be Jamie Two-Squirrels.
• Reggie Weavil (Dwayne Hill) is the chief of The Weavils, who live on Mt. Misery. His first appearance was in "Mount Misery". He and Lucius despise each other because of a so-called "harmless" camp joke where he took Lucius' coveted stuffed bunny Coochie Long-Ears and dropped a bear on him in an outhouse, officially beginning the Heinous/Weavil feud.
• Xiao - Director of Liu Association, a group of "fixers" tasked with solving problems around the city. A fearsome dragon woman constantly surrounded by fire, her first appearance is in the episode "Iron Lotus", where she attempts to kill Jimmy due to mistaking him for a notorious criminal and nearly burns down several city blocks in the process.

Minor characters

• Lucius's Ancestors are the former rulers of Miseryville before they were frozen by their sons. Lucius the first is seen to be feared by the whole Heinous family because he is seen as the most dangerous, violent, and evil of all the Heinous, he seems to resemble Adolf Hitler in his portrait.
• Runny and the Nosebleeds are a punk rock band which is popular in Miseryville. Jimmy, Beezy, Heloise, and probably all of Miseryville are fans of their music.
• The Rodeo Clowns (Ron Pardo) are evil clowns that hate pretty much everyone who isn't in possession of the same occupation as them. They operate as a ruthless gang in Clownburg, a clown-populated section of Miseryville, and are very territorial. The clown leader is particularly serious about being a clown and enforcing "clown power".
• The Weavils are weasel-like creatures like to con and make a fool out of Lucius, Beezy, and Jimmy (basically everyone except Heloise) with horrible pranks. The head of Weavil is an elder named Reggie. The Weavils have a rivalry with Lucius because they played a prank on him at camp.
• Humphrey von Sidekick is Samy's puppet. He only appears when Samy is a host for some event. He is occasionally shown to have a mind of his own ("The Racing Bug" is a prime example).
• Mrs. Cheese-Breath is an old woman that appears in many episodes, usually just a character in the background. She gets her name from her intensively horrible breath. Although she was Lucius's 3rd-grade teacher, she seems to have some sort of odd crush on him, as shown in the episode "Heat Blanket Jimmy", in which she repeatedly beckons him for a kiss. She has also tried to kiss Beezy in 'Clowns Gone Wild'.
• The Aaa Guy is a small purple man who can emit the sounds of an entire church choir by himself. He is commonly used to implicate things as heavenly or great.
• Jacomo (Sean Cullen) is a tan, stereotypical Italian barber who owns and operates a barbershop in Miseryville, wearing a red-striped barber shirt with a bow-tie and stereotypical Italian barber mustache. It is shown he can be pretty lazy when it comes to cutting hair (in "Bad Horn Day", for instance, he twice pretends to answer a fake phone call to avoid intricately cutting Jimmy's and Lucius' hair).
• Chuck the Bus-Driver is a corpse with a pink nose and grey skin. He had developed a very odd friendship with Jimmy. He used to be friends with Beezy and Heloise's, but they found him irritating and left him.
• Mrs. Gherkin (Dwayne Hill) is an evil old lady in the shape of a pickle who first appears in "Rear Pickle" determined to have pickles rule over Miseryville. She appears again in "Zombie Pickle" as the main antagonist, but Jimmy and Beezy don't seem to recognize her.
• Luigi Pallo is a two-headed Italian gentleman seen in many episodes. Both heads usually argue with each other. They both have black hair, a long nose, and bushy mustache.
• Wreckum is a popular soccer player that Jimmy, Beezy, and Heloise highly admire. He resembles a bull/minotaur and speaks in a Scottish accent. His name is an obvious play on David Beckham.
• Shwartzentiger (Sean Cullen) is a ferocious, yet talkative and extremely tiger-like creature who loves to socialize with his victims. If they get bored from his endless chattering or try to escape, his normal response is just to eat them.
• Apple is a pink monster with brown hair and wears a purple dress. Her name has only been mentioned in the episode "Scent of a Heinous", which doubles as the only time she's spoken. She seems to work as a reporter.
• Aunt Pomegranate is Heloise's aunt. She appears in "What's Up with Heloise?" when she came for a visit. Her personality and charm can make Heloise behave nice. At the end of the episode, she is revealed to be just as evil and reckless as Heloise.
• Jasmeen (Tabitha St. Germain) is Jez's dog. She is a small purple dog called a Boohuahua. She once fell in love with Cerbee. At the end of 'Cerbee in Love,' it is shown that she can talk.
• Lava Worm is basically a thick pink worm with a mouth full of crooked jagged teeth. These creatures are seen throughout the series as more of a running gag than a character. Instead of being one character, the lava worm seems to be an entire species, as it has different voices in each episode. A lava worm is also kind of an insult in Miseryville. In the episode "A Cold Day in Miseryville", Jimmy says that the last one to the bottom is a dirty lava worm!", and in "Monster Mutt", Heloise repeatedly says "What am I? Some ugly disgusting lava worm?".
  • Big Lava Worm is a huge worm found at the beaches of Miseryville. They often burst out of the sand headfirst and swallow anyone or anything that's there. A Big lava worm called Mort lives under Cerbee's dog house he made a bet with Heloise in "Jimmy in the Big House". He was voiced by Cory Doran.
• Herman is Heloise's temperamental cousin who appears in "Something About Herman". He looks exactly like Heloise, with only two things to distinguish him (specifically a cap and mustache). According to Heloise, he hates pranks and being called "Her-Man". When properly enraged, he becomes an enormous green monster who resembles the Hulk.
• Mean Jean is a feminine, spoiled, unattractive, ruthless, wealthy new girl in town who tries to take Heloise's title as "queen of mean" in the episode "Heloise's Rival", with red poofy hair, one eye, and wears a pink dress with a bow. She is shown to be as intelligent and witty as Heloise, but their difference is that Heloise is capable of being sensitive while Jean is insensitive. Jean buys friends (like what she did with Jimmy) and doesn't like to take "no" for an answer.
• Jimmy One-Shoe is a demon with only one leg who dresses like Jimmy.
• Mr. Ten makes an appearance in "The Mysterious Mr. Ten". He would not laugh at anything Jimmy tried because he believes Heloise had put a curse on him a long time back because she thought his laugh was annoying.
