Manaf (born 1979) also known as Lorry Udama Manaf is an Indian YouTuber,[3] Lorry owner (Truck owner)[4][5] and internet personality.[6][7]
Early life and career
[edit]Manaf was born in Kozhikkode, Kerala. He studied in CI Residential Higher Secondary School Calicut and College studies were in Guruvayurappan College in Kozhikode. After his studies, Manaf started transporting trees in a lorry with his father, and manaf worked as a Lorry owner (Truck owner) in Kerala a from 2012 to present . Then he started YouTube channel in 2012, started making personal videos and Truck related videos and live streaming, uploaded on Manaf YouTube channel.[8] Manaf has uploaded a video on his channel about the 2024 Ankola (Karnataka) landslide disaster rescue, which caused controversy.[9]
Employer relationship with Manaf and Arjun
[edit]On 16 July 2024, Manaf was the owner of a lorry[10] that was involved in a Ankola landslide accident in Shiroor, Karnataka, and Arjun was driving Manaf's lorry that day. Arjun and Manaf have a long-term employee relationship, Arjun went missing in an landslide accidentin Shiroor and after a 72-day long search,[11] Arjun's body was finally found on 26 September 2024, Manaf was working with the search team on that day, and after finding Arjun's body, Manaf participated in the Arjun's funeral rites. Meanwhile, Arjun's family raised arguments against Manaf and Manaf's YouTube channel raised arguments against him.[12] A case was filed with the police.[13][14][15] On 5 October 2024, Manaf met Arjun's family in person and resolved the issues between them.[16][17]
