Magic links were disabled in this MediaWiki RFC and their use was deprecated and replaced in this (enwiki) RfC. Accordingly, please remove the sentence "In Wikipedia, numbers preceded by "ISBN" link directly to this page." Best, Kevin (aka L235 · t · c) 17:37, 31 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Would it make sense to change it to a reference to {{ISBN}}? Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 18:09, 31 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not actually sure that's necessary either, because it's just the explanatory text to an interface page – we don't necessarily need to explain how to get to the page. If you prefer, though, how's this:
To create a link (or list of links) to this page, use the {{tl|ISBN}} template.
which renders as: To create a link (or list of links) to this page, use the {{ISBN}} template. Best, Kevin (aka L235 · t · c) 20:13, 31 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
 Done I just removed the sentence — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 12:45, 10 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

"ISBN number" is an instance of RAS syndrome. Both instances should be replaced with just "ISBN". Also, "search for multiple sources for a book" sounds awkward; it should be just "search multiple sources for a book". Pokechu22 (talk) 00:28, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Done I made some updates based on these suggestions, if you need more let me know please. — xaosflux Talk 15:08, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Looks good to me, thanks. --Pokechu22 (talk) 18:03, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
