Metamynoglenes flagellata is a species of sheet weaver spider endemic to New Zealand.[1]
Taxonomy
[edit]This species was described in 1979 by A.D Blest from male and female specimens. The holotype is stored in Otago Museum.[1]
Description
[edit]The male is recorded at 2.76mm in length whereas the female is 3.04mm. This species has a brown cephalothorax and yellow legs.[1]
Distribution
[edit]This species is only known from the Wellington and Marlborough Sounds regions of New Zealand.[1]
Conservation status
[edit]Under the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Not Threatened".[2]
