The New Zealand women's cricket team is scheduled to tour India in October 2024 to play three One Day International (ODI) matches against India women's cricket team.[1][2] The series will form part of the 2022–2025 ICC Women's Championship.[3][4] The series will run alongside the men's Test series between India and New Zealand.[5][6] All the matches are scheduled to be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.[7]
Background
[edit]Originally, the series was scheduled to take place in 2023 with three ODIs and three T20Is.[8] However, it was postponed due to the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup in India and Indian women team's packed schedule, which included series against England and Australia.[9][10] The T20I series originally part of the Future Tours Programme but it rescheduled to only three ODI series.[11][12]
