Nicolás Johansen[2] (born 23 January 1999) is an Argentine footballer who plays as a striker for Chilean Primera División side Coquimbo Unido.

Club career

Born in Bustinza [es], Argentina, Johansen began his career with Huracán de Bustinza, making his debut with the first team in 2015. In 2017, he joined Newell's Old Boys and switched to the Colón reserve team the next year until he was twenty-one years old.[3][4]

In 2020–21, he played for Atlético Carcarañá [es] in the Torneo Regional, scoring six goals.[3]

In 2022, he signed with Douglas Haig.[5] In 2023, the team became the runner-up of the Torneo Federal A and Johansen was the team goalscorer.[6]

In 2024, Johansen moved to Chile and signed with Coquimbo Unido in the top division,[7][8] also making appearances in the Copa Sudamericana.[9][10]

Personal life

His father, Ricardo,[11] is a football coach and former defender who is a historical player of Almirante Brown.[4]

He is nicknamed Toro (Bull).[7]
