Nongallamdaisida (English: When It's Dawn) is a 2022 Manipuri film directed by O. Gautam and produced by Nobin Phairembam under the banner of NB Poireicha Films.[1] It stars Hamom Sadananda, Gurumayum Bonny, Manganba and Biju Ningombam in the lead roles.[2] The movie was released at Manipur State Film Development Corporation (MSFDS) on 19 June 2022.[3][4] It was also screened at the Sangai Film Festival 2022, which was organised as a part of the Manipur Sangai Festival.[5][6][7][8] The film was certified by CBFC in 2021, but was released in 2022.[9]
Synopsis
[edit]Encouraged by the support given by the people, Ningthem decides to stand as a candidate of his constituency in the upcoming Manipur assembly elections. He wins the election but faces consequences of the corruption filled system, even before he starts his duties.

Soundtrack
[edit]Poirei Thokchom and Tony Aheibam composed the soundtrack for the film and Prane Yungkham and R.K. Imo wrote the lyrics. The songs are titled Nungshi Pamui and Mityengdei Houkhiba.[10][11]
