Sharmeen Murshid is a member of the advisory council of the Bangladesh interim government.[2] She was chief executive officer of human rights organization Brotee which has been working for the rights of marginalized groups, especially the indigenous people since 2001.[3] She is currently serving as Adviser to the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs as well as Ministry of Social Welfare.[4]
