Shuang-ren Zhao

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Shuang-ren Zhao (born 1954) is a Chinese scientist.

Biography

[edit]

Zhao Shuang-ren graduated from Beijing Institute of Technology (formerly Beijing Polytechnic Institute) in 1976 with a degree in electromechanical Engineering. In 1987, he obtained a graduate degree in Electromagnetic Fields and Microwave Technology from the Northwest Institute of Telecommunications Engineering (now Xidian University) and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 1998. From 1987 to 1990, Zhao worked on antenna design and research at the 39th Institute of the Ministry of Electronics Industry in China. Between 1990 and 1997, he served as a scientist at the Jülich Nuclear Research center in Germany. Subsequently, Zhao engaged in research on magnetoencephalography, positron imaging, CT image reconstruction, image segmentation, and image registration in Germany, Canada, and the United States.

Major contributions

[edit]

Electromagnetic wave theory of photons

[edit]

In 1987, Zhao Shuang-ren proposed and published the "Mutual Energy Theorem" of electromagnetic fields[1] [2] [3] , with the following formula:

He also proposed the concept of two inner products of electromagnetic fields:

In 2017, Zhao expanded this theorem into the "Mutual Energy Flow Theorem"[4], expressed as:

Zhao’s law of electromagnetic fields asserts that electromagnetic radiation does not escape the universe, deriving related formulas. He posited that the electric field and magnetic field of the electromagnetic waves must maintain a 90-degree phase difference and used the theory of the Mutual Energy Flow to demonstrate the law of conservation of energy, he guessed that photons are mutual energy flows.

Quantum mechanics

[edit]

Since 2017, Zhao Shuang-ren has been using Mutual Energy Flow to explain quantum mechanics, proposing that any particle is a form of mutual energy flow. Photons are the mutual energy flow related to Maxwell's equations, while electrons are the mutual energy flow related to the Schrödinger or Dirac equations. He extended the Mutual Energy Flow Theorem from electromagnetic field theory to quantum mechanics, unifying the concept of energy flow with mutual energy flow[5].

Image reconstruction

[edit]

In the field of image reconstruction, Zhao Shuang-ren proposed a CT image reconstruction algorithm based on Fourier transforms for fan-beam and cone-beam CT systems.
