Title

[edit]

If "AMCATS" = "Anna Maria College Athletic Teams", then I would suggest renaming the article to this title. An alternative is to include all content here in a concise form in Anna Maria College. From a policy point-of-view, see Wikipedia:Article_titles#Article_title_format. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 04:27, 27 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

AMCATSAnna Maria College athletic team sports – Standard naming procedure the NCAA and GNAC per User:Jweiss11's findings [1] here list them under the university name. The article should be under the official name or something following the precedent from the former mascotless University of North Dakota, which used to be University of North Dakota athletics. Comment I would also be willing to support moves to Anna Maria College athletics, or Anna Maria AMCats (providing sufficient sourcing validates the latter claim.)UCO2009bluejay (talk) 02:44, 1 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
"Anna Maria AMCats" seems the best choice to follow our standard naming conventions for college sports teams here on Wikipedia. Jweiss11 (talk) 07:05, 1 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
