Seems to be a a discrepancy in the English and German versions on August Zang.

While the English version puts the main emphasis on Zang introducing Vienoiserie in France the German version emphasises the newspapers Zang was the owner of in Austria.

Both are important in my opinion.

Is it possible for both authors to come to a unified text ?

Willing to put some effort into it.

The problem is that it requires someone equally at home in both languages. 69.237.180.58 (talk) 21:35, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

From what I see, there is no German article on Zang, just an article on Die Presse itself. It would indeed be nice if someone translated this one, perhaps adding info that is more readily available in German-speaking countries. 69.237.2.123 (talk) 20:50, 24 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There is now a German article on Zang and you might want to use its pictures. Robert Schediwy --86.33.220.43 (talk) 20:21, 27 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Quite an article it is, too (now if only someone would update the German article on the croissant, which seems to be based on an old version of the one here). One of the pictures, though, is from this article and the other still seems to have an uncertain status. But I hope to find some time to translate (as best I can) info from that that is not here and at some point to grab the other picture. - If nothing else, more German speakers may become aware of the French debt to Austria for one of their iconic national foods. :) Noitawl (talk) 03:19, 3 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
