Which birth year is correct?

[edit]

The infobox says B.J. was born in 1953, and the list of categories includes "1953 births", but the article itself says she was born in 1944. Which year is correct? JHVipond (talk) 02:56, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Birth year again; Playboy Bunny

[edit]

These are two separate but related issues.

  1. What is her birth year? There's one source currently being used that supports the 1954 year here. I know nothing about how reliable that source is, it's possible that it's not reliable at all or of limited use (like IMDB) even though I see it is used elsewhere on Wikipedia.
  2. This same source also claims that she was a former Playboy Bunny. Again, not sure how reliable that is.

To date I have not been able to find any other source to corroborate either of those claims. The Playboy Bunny claim might be considered controversial which would fall under WP:BLP meaning that unless we're absolutely sure about the source we shouldn't include that information. But if we can't trust that source on that piece of info, can we trust it for the birth date? It's always possible that they got their information from an earlier version of this article. At this point I'm inclined to remove both the birth date (in its entirety) and the Playboy Bunny claim unless another reliable source(s) is found to support those claims. Any other ideas? A different source was supplied for her years as a Playboy Bunny which definitely makes the 1954 birth year highly improbable. Not sure whether Explayboybunnies.com is a reliable source, though. For now her birth date has been removed entirely. I suspect the Playboy Bunny claim still needs a better source. SQGibbon (talk) 15:45, 1 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"I Suspect the Playboy Bunny claim still nees a better source" Well aren't we very doubthful and suspicious today. What are you a Democrat? (that was a joke)BHillbillies (talk) 16:30, 1 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Well, that site doesn't state where it gets its information and it is entirely possible that the list linked to is based on what the site owner has seen online like, say, on Wikipedia. That sort of thing does happen where something is inserted as a hoax on Wikipedia then gets quoted as true by on outside website which then gets used as a source on Wikipedia to support the hoax. This doesn't mean that the Playboy Bunny claim is false but I would like to see a better source, a reliable source, for the claim. SQGibbon (talk) 17:32, 1 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Smurf role(s)

[edit]

I've seen her moniker on The Smurfs but she's not given on the voice list here; does anybody know who she was on the 1980's show? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:302:D85:4C39:AD69:CF8B:F87E:30C0 (talk) 05:17, 12 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Career and Filmography have redundant listings.

Career and Filmography have redundant listings. The organization and cross linking styles are different. These could be consolidated? Moultingmajor (talk) 16:25, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
