Headers and Formats Modified

[edit]

I have re-edited the headers and formats to follow Wiki's guidelines and have removed links which are deemed as adverts, while maintaining a proper information and insight of this township. Thanks GermanJoe for the heads-up and clarification in regards to my previous edits.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Russ L (talkcontribs)

@Russ L: Thank you for starting this talkpage discussion. The removed content has some basic flaws: first of all such content should be based on independent reliable sources (WP:RS) for verification. Ideally all content should be sourced (atleast in theory ...). Also, some of the information about local businesses, restaurants and hotels would be better suited for WikiVoyage, Wikipedia's sister project for travel-related information. Wikipedia articles should focus only on a summary of the most relevant encyclopedic details. A last point: any statement of opinion or subjective claim must be sourced to avoid original research and possibly non-neutral editing (WP:OR, WP:NPOV). Hope that helps to clarify my reasoning behind the reverts - you'll find more detailed information about the mentioned aspects in the blue-linked guidelines.
