Magician in Birmingham Magician Ben Hanlin’s personality is great, a really likable performer and very talented magician. He is refreshingly different to Dynamo and easy and more comfortable to watch in my opinion. Don’t get me wrong I think Dynamo is fab too in his own way I just thought the show flowed really well, cheerful funny and amazing whereas Dynamo’s is more about his story, image and amazed reactions. The magic tricks in the show are also very strong, there is still an element I feel of not seeing the ‘whole picture’ at times but I guess that is the nature of TV magic these days and I don’t think that is ever going to change not nowadays anyway with the likes of youtube etc where you can watch a trick over and over again to work out how it is done. Since he was five-years old, Ben Hanlin has developed a passion for magic, specializing in sleight of hand and “close-up” illusions. Now, Ben is one of the youngest members of The Magic Circle and has mastered skills and showmanship well beyond his years.

His unique contemporary style of close-up magic continues to captivate audiences at any of his diverse appearances, which run the gamut from intimate performances to large, corporate events. His numerous clientele include BMW, David Lloyd, and T.G.I.Friday’s.

More recently, Ben gained further exposure by captivating audiences and judges alike with his stunning performances on ITV's “Daybreak” and “Britain’s Got Talent 2011.” In 2011, Ben received the title of The Midlands Young Entrepreneur of the Year, further adding to his roll call of awards.
