Guinness Book of World Records lists Coyne as a eunuchoidal giant, a different malady than pituitary giantism.Mytg8 14:43, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Just because Coyne suffered from eunuchoidal-infantile giantism doesn't necessarily mean he was sexually impotent.
That's very interesting info about Coyne's draft status, Keith Andrew Nonemaker. Where did you get that data from?Mytg8 14:57, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I can't seem to find on the internet any information on eunuchoidal-infantile giantism (daddy- longleggs syndrom)is there any information anyone knows about?24.178.84.130 18:15, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It seems to be more commonly called "eunuchoid gigantism." The American Heritage Medical Dictionary states it is "Gigantism in which testicular secretions are deficient or absent causing deficient sexual development and persistence of prepuberal characteristics."[1] The term is possibly antiquated as the most expansive information I find is from a 91 year old text.[2] Apparently the term "eunuchoidal-infantile" was in use in 1916, but was disputed. Some sources seem to indicate it's similar to Sotos syndrome or at least that skeletons of a eunuchoidal giant might be similar to someone with Sotos. --T.
