Thomas Matthew Crooks

[edit]

This is clearly notable. Thomas Matthew Crooks has been confirmed as the would-be assassin in the July 13 incident. Oksowhat (talk) 07:18, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Notability for these notable residents lists applies only to people with Wikipedia articles about them. Currently none exists for Crooks and thus he isn't eligible. He also currently doesn't meet notability guidelines for a stand alone article at this moment. Wait for the dust to settle before trying to add this content, WP:NOHURRY. Traumnovelle (talk) 07:19, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
He does have one, but it currently redirects to Attempted assassination of Donald Trump.--Auric talk 10:04, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
So, that means he does not have an article. A redirect to a notable incident does not mean that he is notable. Meters (talk) 10:13, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Redirects aren't articles. Traumnovelle (talk) 20:32, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Take his name off the list - It's just wrong to label any mass shooter as a "Notable" resident. 67.246.34.193 (talk) 12:40, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry boss -- Y not? 13:40, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Remove This looks to me very much like WP:BLP1E — a subject notable for one event only. Nick Levine (talk) 18:55, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
