Endangered and Threatened species list completely inaccurate

[edit]

The cite source for endangered and threatened species is grossly inaccurate and not at all consistent with the FWS.gov Endangered Species database. Some of the birds listed have NEVER been threatened or endangered under ESA. This list should be thoroughly scrubbed to ensure species listed are indeed listed under ESA. If there is some legislation that give Westchester County NY the ability to designate species as threatened or endangered, these sources should be taken with a sincere grain of salt. It is extremely misleading to say a species is threatened or endangered when it is not. --Mike Cline (talk) 20:23, 1 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, but the two species are still part of the county's biodiversity, so I would've just moved them out of the 'endangered' section instead of removing them altogether. Unless Pharos gets to it first, I'll try to clear this up sometime to make it consistent with the FWS.--ɱ (talk · vbm) 20:39, 1 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
