Edit to update the Impact Factor

[edit]

Hi Editor, Please would you update the Impact Factor in the side margin, under the cover image? Please replace Impact Factor “(2013) 2.356” with Impact Factor “(2014) 2.294” There are some references online, but most need a login - ISI web of science – http://wok.mimas.ac.uk/ (thomsonreuters.com/). We have updated the BJGP About Page – http://bjgp.org/page/about with the new figure. Many thanks, Simone (SimoneRCGP (talk) 14:47, 5 August 2015 (UTC))[reply]

Hi Editor,

Please would you update the Impact Factor in "Abstracting and indexing". Please replace "it has a 2013 impact factor of 2.356." with "it has a 2014 impact factor of 2.294." This was recently changed in the side bar under the cover image.

There are some references online, but most need a login ISI web of science – http://wok.mimas.ac.uk/ (thomsonreuters.com/)

We have updated the BJGP About Page – http://bjgp.org/page/about with the new figure.

As I have access to Reuters Web of Science, I certify that I verified the impact factor in Journal Citation Reports. Altamel (talk) 03:21, 19 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Updating Impact Factor on BJGP page

[edit]

Hi Editor,

1. Please would you update the Impact Factor in "Abstracting and indexing"

Please replace "it has a 2015 impact factor of 2.741." with "it has a 2017 impact factor of 3.261.

2. Please also update the Impact Factor in the side margin, under the cover image

Please replace Impact Factor “(2015) 2.741” with Impact Factor “(2017) 3.261”

There are some references online, but most need a login ISI web of science – http://wok.mimas.ac.uk/ (thomsonreuters.com/)

We have updated the BJGP About Page – http://bjgp.org/page/about with the new figure.

  Clarification requested

  • A citation will need to be provided from whatever entity assigns this "impact factor". The previous reference used by this page was insufficient, in that it only directs readers to other Wikipedia pages.
  • Unless BJGP assigns its own impact factor, using their site as the reference would be misleading.
