An image used in this article, File:Buick Excelle GT - China.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?
Speedy deletions at commons tend to take longer than they do on Wikipedia, so there is no rush to respond. If you feel the deletion can be contested then please do so (commons:COM:SPEEDY has further information). Otherwise consider finding a replacement image before deletion occurs.

Suggestion to rename the article to "Buick Excelle" - without XT or GT

[edit]

It is becoming complicated to address the section for the sedan "Excelle GT" as part of the article on the sister hatchback model "Excelle XT". --L.Willms (talk) 11:55, 27 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Buick Excelle XTBuick Excelle – The Article Buick Excelle is currently a REDIRECT to the section on China of the Article Daewoo Lacetti. Buick China has marketed a version of the Lacetti as Buick Excelle. The successor to the Daewoo Lacetti in most parts of the world is the Chevrolet Cruze, which is based on the same platform as the Opel Astra. Buick China is now marketing two models named "Excelle" which are not twins of the Chevrolet Cruze, but of the Opel Astra (Excelle XT), and the Excelle GT, a replica of which is introduced this year in the USA as Buick Verano and by Opel in the rest of the world as the sedan vesion of the Opel Astra.

This article had been created as "Buick Excelle XT", before the Excelle GT was launched... Excelle GT is now a subsection of Excelle XT -- a very awkward situation. So the proposal is to move this article to Buick Excelle, and to replace the current REDIRECT page with this. Since I never managed to replace a REDIRECT page by renaming another, inappropriately named article, I put up this request and hope that some more system savvy person can accomplish this move.
