Cromwell

[edit]

Oliver Cromwell was MP for Cambridge from 1640 until 1645 ([1]). I don't know the best way to work this into the table, as it obviously opens giant holes (and I've no idea who the other Cambridge MP was at the time) -- Finlay McWalter | Talk 19:52, August 3, 2005 (UTC)

Boyce

[edit]

Laurence Boyce should tell us what "TBD" stands for. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.180.182.155 (talk) 13:39, 3 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps it stands for "Sock-puppet of Richard Dawkins." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.158.73.6 (talk) 08:52, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Old Holborn

[edit]

"Old Holborn" appears to have been treated as "Old, Holborn" rather than "Holborn, Old" on the statement of persons nominated. It appears that either the candidate or the returning officer has slipped up. I'm not sure how it'll appear on the ballot paper, so I've left it as given. Wereon (talk) 16:20, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've got a reply to an e-mail I sent to the returning officer. "Old Holborn" is given as the candidate's surname, with no first name, so he will indeed be filed under O. Wereon (talk) 16:45, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
