Attributes
[edit]Is Saint Catherine sometimes depicted holding a miniature ship, whose main sail bears the Papal coat of arms? If so, this should be added to the list of attributes in the article.

Patronage
[edit]There is an unsourced sentence in the main section of the article, paragraph 5:"She is also the patron saint of journalists, media, and all communication professions, because of her epistolary work for the papacy." However, in the "patronage" section of the side bar it lists her as the patron saint: "against fire; bodily ills; Diocese of Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA; Europe; illness; Italy; Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya, Samal, Bataan, Philippines; miscarriages; people ridiculed for their piety; sexual temptation; sick people; sickness; nurses". Earlier in the paragraph there is a sourced citation for her being the patron saint of Europe and Italy. I could find no sources online listing her as a patron saint for writers, journalists, communications professionals, etc. Is there a definitive source for this sort of thing? I think this sentence should be stricken from the article, as it pops up in the Google results instead of her actual patronages and may be misleading people. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 170.163.27.226 (talk) 16:30, 11 April 2019 (UTC)

Date of canonization
[edit]I'm just wondering where the date "June 29th" comes from, for her canonization? The source that is cited as regards this event (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catherine_of_Siena#cite_note-beckwith-66) nowhere says anything about a date of "June 29th". Whereas other sources state that the date was April 29th 1461, the same day as her feast day / date of death (Dies Natalis): https://www.historytoday.com/archive/st-catherine-sienna-canonised.
