This page appears to have evolved from a well scrutinized and critical profile of this person to a fluff portrayal eliminating well researched and documented facts which were highly relevant to this person.

It's unfortunate that the Wikipedia community hasn't caught on to this recasting of history and facts about this person - who has an important and defining role associated with both Massachusetts politics, Native American tribal affairs, Indian gaming and related topics. Billions of dollars are involved and potential corruption associated with these issues and this person merit sunshine. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 166.147.67.28 (talk) 15:04, 27 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Manus - are all blogs considered insufficient sources for biographies? The blog linked here has included posted copies of public records documents fully referenced. Those documents don't have perma-links so a link to their source isn't available. How would you handle posting this accurate and referenced public information? — Preceding unsigned comment added by CinagroErunam (talkcontribs) 16:53, 23 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The only clear exception would be the personal blog of the subject of the biography. A blog that is clearly mainly interested in criticizing the subject and presenting primary legal documents to do so is not an apt source for a blp. We don't add publicly available information of this kind untill it is described in reliable sources. Courtrecords cannot be used as sources either by WP:PRIMARY. ·ʍaunus·snunɐw· 00:31, 24 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Reliable Sources

[edit]

Wikipedia rules on Reliable Sources (RS), necessary for supporting facts and assertions in articles, exclude personal blogs. The only blog content allowed is that managed by Reliable Sources, such as major media. For that reason, about four statements and the four cites from personal blogs have been deleted from this article. Wikipedia is particularly concerned that Biographies of Living Persons (BLP), as this is, be well sourced from peer-reviewed, professional, third-party publications.
