[edit]

The reason why I propose to create this redirect is because, currently, Wiktionary links referencing the "Central Franconian language" (for instance, in etymology sections) fail to direct the user to the correct Wikipedia page, instead displaying that the page was not found. Whilst this can be easily circumvented by following the suggested link displayed on the error page (which leads to the correct page, describing the entire dialect continuum), it would enhance the user experience to allow the link to route directly to the desired page. Forgive me if I have missed some kind of Wikipedia paradigm, and if this redirect draft is redundant in some capacity, but I hope this matter is trivially resolved either way. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kiril kovachev (talkcontribs) 19:41, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The above was originally an HTML comment from the creator on the redirect AfC submission, I have copied it here for the sake of visibility. Nathan2055talk - contribs 21:03, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
