When doing research online I found a contemporary article when he was at Durham stating he had a BA, not an MA, but later references found said he had an MA. I can't find where he achieved this? Also one of the refs states he had an Hon D Lit from N.U. Northern Ireland. I can't find what N.U. stands for, as when you search online you only get Northeastern University in the US and there is no mention in his obit at Pembroke College.
