Oxford spelling

[edit]

This article is supposed to follow British spelling rules. I am American, and I welcome any fixes. I will note that "specialize" and "characterize" are Oxford spelling, but whether that carries any weight is unknown to me. Choor monster (talk) 13:39, 12 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I went ahead and changed to non-Oxford spelling, since that's what Rourke himself uses. Choor monster (talk) 18:02, 12 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for all your work on this article! I felt a bit bad leaving the article with just the failed Poincare proof, but wasn't able to find anything more at the time. All the best: Rich Farmbrough, 20:59, 19 October 2015 (UTC).[reply]
Glad to help. I'm a professional, and old enough to remember that flap. I certainly know the relevant RS. Heck, I own copies of most of them.
Normally, I don't bother fixing math articles, but BLPs are different. Choor monster (talk) 13:01, 20 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
