Contested deletion

[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because I do not agree with your reasons. The Community Exchange System is a global network of tens of thousands of people and the CES has thousands of links on the internet. It is the biggest thing in the complementary currency movement. Give us a chance to put in some of those links. Don't be so mean. There is a lot of irrelevant nonsense on Wikipedia but when something with relevance comes along you want to delete it! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cessite (talkcontribs)

Cessite, this has nothing to do with being mean - the article was previously deleted, and the speedy delete tag expressly states not to remove it from a page that you've created yourself. Nevertheless, I agree that the article should not be speedily deleted, and will contest any further delete requests. The article needs substantial improvements though - it was deleted as it was not found to meet Wikipedia's criteria for notability Please see the requirements there as well as Wikipedia's other editing policies and guidelines. I know there are many links establishing notability, so will work with you on incorporating these into the article. Greenman (talk) 06:35, 30 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've spent a bit of time improving and tidying the article. It could do with more, but as this appears to be a growing rather than shrinking network at this point in time, suggest keeping. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 03:24, 31 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
