@Unlimitedlead: Awesome; this passes the GA review, congratulations on a great article! Let's see if I can manage to close the review without messing it up 😁. --HistoryofIran (talk) 23:28, 2 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much for your work @HistoryofIran! I'll definitely see you around; I plan on reviewing some of your own GANs over the next few months Unlimitedlead (talk) 23:33, 2 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a particular reason that most of the citations list the name of the author, whilst two (Prosopographie der mittelbyzantinischen Zeit and ODB) do not? --HistoryofIran (talk) 19:06, 2 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Based on my experience at FA, the formatting of the PdmZ and ODB acceptable; I think the reason behind this is that both have their own specialized templates (if you go into the code, you'll see) that are unlike average {{sfn}} templates. Unlimitedlead (talk) 19:29, 2 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sources section

[edit]

The "Ancient sources" sub-section could use a bit more info. The first "source" is just a link to Constantine VII? --HistoryofIran (talk) 16:35, 2 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have just removed that section. Byzantine articles usually have some primary/ancient sources listed, but not always. Unlimitedlead (talk) 19:32, 2 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
